As a rule of thumb...any time your opp grabs you, grab him back! So when your opp grabs the inside of your gi pants...
1. Grab his right sleeve with both of your hands
2. Kick your left leg out straight and pull his arm towards you to release his hold of your pant leg
3. Put your foot back on his hip and push him away as your pull his arm forward to stretch him out
4. Your left foot swings inside his left arm and pushes his bicep away - At the same time pull his arm down towards your left hip and turn his elbow out (omoplata position)
5. Swing your left over his shoulder to get the omoplata
6. Let go of his sleeve with your left hand and reach under his leg - then pass his sleeve from your right hand to your left - Your left hand is now locked inside his leg and holding his arm tight
7. Now just roll onto your side to sweep your opp over and get motion side mount. Hand immediately goes to hip!
