Side Mount: Arm Bar

From cross side when your opp has his arm draped over your head....Your bottom arm (right) underhooks his arm (holding his shoulder) and his left is over his head. Your right knee is tight to his hip and your left is sprawled out....

1. Use your left arm and left leg to post yourself up as you posture up, backing your body up. Pull your opp close to you (again his hip is tight to your right knee) - As you back up your right arm holds his arm tight over your shoulder and you pinch your head to his wrist to keep it in place - It is very important to keep his arm over your shoulder, if you lose this there is no lock! Make sure your elbow is down tight against his ribs!!
2. Swing your left leg around his head towards his lower back and kick your toes under his back

3. Your right foot steps up by his throat and you sit back with your knees pinched

4. As soon as you begin to sit back grab his thumb so he can not roll out of the arm lock - Finish the arm bar
