Guard: Pelvis Sweep

This move can be done when your opp is posturing up, or you can bait him to sit up by holding him down tight. He will instinctively pull his head back and as he does you can sit up.

1. Open your guard and drop your feet to the ground - You can not sit up all the way if you keep your guard locked!

2. ROLL all the way to one side -This will get your opp's hands off your stomach or chest so you can sit up

3. Put your bottom elbow to the ground and push yourself up until your hand is flat on your the ground (Elbow to Palm)

4. Sit up into your opp's lap, getting your ass off the ground

5. Reach your other hand around his tricep (the tricep that is on the same side that you sit up towards, you are reaching over his head) and pull his arm tight to your stomach!! This stops him from posting that arm when you go for the sweep

6. Your outside leg "kicks" across as your pull your opp's body as your pull his arm down

Your end up in Mount

Going for this sweep results in one of the following;
- The sweep
- If your opp is able to post his hand down you can go for a Kimura
- If he drives you back down with is head down you can go for a Guillotine
- If he puts his arm over your shoulder you can get your oppsosite foot out and go for a Omoplata
- If he puts his arm over your shoulder and locks his hands to drive you down you are back in guard, but you now have his arm to work with. You can go for a straight arm lock.
