Guard: Submission - Kimura to Arm Bar

When going for the kimura....if you have the arm locked but you are having trouble getting it behind your opp's back, if he is keeping his hand in front of him...

(For this example assume you are going for a kimura on your right side which is your opp's left arm)

1. Take your right leg off your opp's back and tuck it across your opp's chest

2. Hold his arm tight to your body (his elbow to your chest)

3. Bring your left leg around your opp's body and head tuck it in behind his arm under his stomach again.

You can try to finish the lock here by driving your hips down and finishing on your stomach but I think it is a higher % finish if you roll him onto his back

4. Once you have both your feet tucked under him, let go of his arm with your left hand (while your right arm holds his arm tight to your chest, if you grab your left shoulder it helps you lock the arm into place) and grab under his left ankle. Throw his legs over his head as you turn your hips counterclockwise to help you roll him over.

5. Finish the arm bar
