Side Mount: Reversal to Escape

If your opp gets to his knees when you have him in side mount but he grabs the wrong leg (your far leg) Your opp is now turtled on his hands and knees and you are sprawled out laying across him perdendicularly...

1. Reach your arm over his back, under his arm and grab his wrist

2. Bring your back knee up under your opp's arm pit

3. Switch your hips bringing the leg that your opp is grabbing backwards. This will force him to let go of your leg....

4. Point your other heel up because as your opp lets go of your leg you are going ot catch his arm with your other foot. Once his foot is trapped triangle your legs....your opp is now in a cricifix.

5. Roll forward over your shoulder. You are now laying on your back with your opp in a crucifix

You can now either finish with a RNC or a gi choke....either one will be almost impossible to defend bc your opp can not move either one of his hands
