Takedown: Sitting to Triangle

You are going to use this takedown when your opp grabs the back of your head from a standing position. As soon as he grabs the back of your head (for this example he grabs you with his right hand, by your left ear)

1. Immediately grab his other arm by his wrist so he can not get total control of you.

2. Your other hand (the one adjacent to the hand he is holding the back of your neck with) reaches and grabs the around the back of his neck.

3. Now you are going to pick up your left leg (the same leg as the side he is holding your neck with) and put it on his hip, and push away and you sit back to guard.

4. As you sit back to guard push his left hand between your legs and throw your legs up around his shoulders.....so he basically falls right into a triangle. Your left hand is already around the back of his neck so its easy to grab your shin to adjust the triangle if need be.

* The most important step is making sure as you fall back you push his arm between your legs, otherwise you are just sitting back to regular guard.

**You can easily change this takedown to a flying triangle by rather than falling backwards you can instead jump and get your legs around his shoulders. Make sure your opps is holding your before you attempt the flying triangle, otherwise you may fall back on your head.
